Please feel free to contact us for a guided tour of our facilities or for additional information.  WGCS is a K3 - 12th grade Christian school. Acceptance into WGCS is based on several criteria:

  • Student's Attitude
  • Parent Cooperation
  • Entrance Test

West Gate Christian School does not discriminate based on color, race, national or ethnic origin. West Gate Christian School does not discriminate in the administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, athletic programs, or any other school activities.

West Gate Christian School is for families who are interested in their children receiving a Christian education. Complete enrollment materials are available from the school office. Students entering grades 1 through 12 may be required to take an admissions test.

Admissions Procedure

 K3-6th Grade
  1. Schedule an interview with the Administrator, Mr. Raymond. A brief history of the church and school will be presented along with a summary of the school's philosophy, standards, and policies. Please bring report cards and achievement test results from the past year.
  2. Complete the enrollment application: Application and Application fees (non-refundable) must be turned in to the school office.
  3. WGCS has a selective enrollment policy. Students with significant academic or behavioral concerns or major doctrinal difference may not integrate well into our school program.

7th-12th Grade
  1. Review the WGCS Mission Statement to determine if the school would be a good fit for your family with regards to doctrinal views and practices.
  2.  WGCS has a selective enrollment policy. Students with significant academic or behavioral concerns or major doctrinal difference may not integrate well into our school program.

  4. The school office will contact the family to arrange entrance testing.
    • The testing is used to identify the student's strengths and weaknesses; it is not a "pass or fail" exam.
    • The school administration will contact your family with the testing results and may offer suggestions for summer study to prepare the student for class.
    • The New Students Testing Fee ($50) is due at time of the testing.
  5. Application and application fee (non-refundable) must be turned in to the school office.
